Step back in time, thousands of years to a time before metal tools when humans survived through creativity and their knowledge of the natural world. through story telling, artefacts and hands on activities children will get a first hand experience of life in stone age Britain

Transform you school playing field, hall or classroom into a stone age hunter gatherer encampment and spend the day with a skilled stone age person, with live demonstrations of flint knapping, fire lighting cave painting and hunting techniques before the children have ago themselves with real materials!

Unlike other providers, our stone age man Isn’t just an actor in a costume, but a professionally trained archaeologist and experienced educator, who can both demonstrate the skills from the past and bring them to life.

Our stone age program is perfect for KS2 classes working through or just starting the “from the stone age to the Iron age” topic, the session can be tailored to fit any stage of your classroom learning.

How Long does the session last?

Each stone age session is a Full School day, typically 9:15 - 3:15 the program can be one class for a full day (recommended) or two classes for a half day. Discounts are available for multiple consecutive days booked

What age group is this for?

This program is designed specifically for KS2 “from the stone age to the iron age” and is suitable for years 3 - 6

Do you travel to school?

Yes, the entire program is brought to school with zero additional costs for travel for areas in in the North West, Staffordshire or Worth Wales

How many pupils can take part?

Each session is designed to take a class of up to 35 pupils

Absolutely, this program is designed to enhance pupils learning through their ks2 stone age topic.
